Snickers, aka Little Miss Boo
November 23, 2006-February 21, 2012
Snickers had surgery Tuesday, February 21, 2012, to remove her enlarged spleen and to repair damage from being stepped on accidentally. She made it completely through the surgery, but after she was all stitched up and taken off anesthesia, she went into cardiac arrest and never recovered. She was my only baby girl and she was 5 yrs, 3 months old. Miss Boo, I miss you baby girl, and your brothers miss you. There is a huge piece of my heart that went with you. I feel an emptiness that cannot be filled. I thought I was just imagining things days before when you would look into my eyes and then kiss me. A thought hit me that you knew you were not coming back from surgery and you was telling me goodbye and I love you.

Thoughts for November 17, 2011
I am sooooo over protective of my babies. I can almost hear them in a group, griping how their mom is too "paranoid"! LOL Considering the fact that Bucky is geriatric and has adrenal and insulinoma, and Miss Boo struggles with tummy problems and enlarged spleen and allergies/colds, I notice everything about them. If one day they seem to sleep too long, I'm on ALERT MODE.
These babies are my life. They are my children. My hubby gets upset so much because I am so strict on feeding times for the sick ones, med times and I HAVE to know where they are at ALL times. You see, my babies are "free roaming" ferrets. I think caging them restricts who they are. We have a cage when it is necessary, such as when we are cleaning or its dangerous to leave them unsupervised.
